Earth Angel Newsletter October 2007
Dear Earth Angels:
It was a great turnout at Adarel #3 in Jacksonville. Thanks to Marissa Unger, WM, and the cooks for hosting us and taking care of our nourishment.
We were able to install two more Earth Angel Officers, Jerry Lou Gerber, Recording Secretary, and Marissa Unger, Corresponding Secretary. Five down and one to go.
I was very pleased at the net results of both the Picnic and Shortcake booth. A lot of people did a lot of work under the direction of Gerry Brown. We all thank you very much.
Sister Patti and I have had some Oak Trees made into both a Tux Saver and a Pin which are available at $5.00 each with all proceeds going to Home Endowment. We also have available the Session Charm and Pin.

Congratulations to our WGM Sharon and Husband Harry on their 53 rd Wedding Anniversary.
If you haven’t taken a look at our new website, it’s time you did. The address is www.oregonoes.org/ You should get into the habit of reviewing it frequently for any new announcements.
One of the LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE is the “Law of the Lockers” which
states “If there are only two people in a locker room, they will have
adjacent lockers”

From the Prez
Dear Earth Angels-
What a great showing at both Sister Sharon's and Brother Hunt's receptions!
They can be really proud of you and I know that they are. Thank you so
much for your support and participation in our addendums. Please attend as
many of the grand officer receptions as you can in your area. They are a
great group of folks and we love 'em!
If you know of anyone who needs a little cheer, let me or our cheer
committee members know about it.
Hope to see many of you at the October 13th luncheon meeting in Albany.
It's not too early to start thinking about coming to MESH on December 7th to
help decorate and deliver Christmas trees to our member residents. It's a
lot fun and gives great joy to both the members and YOU! Happy Fall!
We received a Thank You note from WGP Hunt: Dear Earth Angels: Thank you for the Heirloom Wood Journal presented by Terry McKinley. It is wonderful. Thank you also for the very generous monetary gift I received at Grand Session. It is truly appreciated. Upon arrival at Pendleton, Patti and I received a care package of fruit, crackers, dip, candy and cookies, but no indication of who sent it. We later discovered it came from the Earth Angels. Both Patti and I sincerely appreciate your generosity and friendship. Thank you! Hunt
